What it is

A 15-question self-check of how your practice protects patient data. It takes about 5 minutes.

What you get

No obligation

It's useful on its own, even if you aren't considering a new EMR.

What we'll look at

Six areas that matter most

  • Encryption and where your data is stored
  • User access, passwords and logins
  • Staff security training
  • Backups and recovery
  • Vendor contracts and business associate agreements
  • Security policies and documentation
Answer honestly. "Not sure" is a valid answer, and often the most useful one, because it shows exactly where to focus.
Not a HIPAA Security Risk Analysis. This is a quick self-check. It doesn't replace the formal risk analysis HIPAA requires your practice to perform.
Privacy. Your answers are used only to prepare your results and aren't shared outside OneTouch EMR.

Your score

How exposed is your practice?

65–84ModerateA reasonable baseline with real gaps, usually in documentation, training cadence or vendor contracts rather than core technical controls.
40–64HighMeaningful gaps in one or more critical areas, such as encryption, access control or compliance documentation. Make these a near-term priority.
Below 40CriticalMultiple significant gaps, likely including core technical or compliance failures. Immediate attention recommended.
